Church greeters in the Greeters Ministry are the first representatives of the church to meet people as they arrive for worship. We establish the mood that enables people to worship. We are frontline ambassadors of the church’s mission and values.
Our Goal and Vision as the greeter's ministry
Hospitality is organized friendliness. Welcoming the visitors and members experience the love of God by greeting them as they enter through the doors of our Church. We show the love of Christ by extending greetings showing Christian hospitality and making everyone, especially our visitors feel welcomed and loved as they come through our doors.
Vision Scripture
“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” – Psalm 84:10
We serve the purpose of helping the uncomfortable feel more at ease attending our church. We make sure that our members and guests receive a communion packet and bulletin. We also direct our visitors and guest into the sanctuary, bible classes, and restrooms. Ultimately, we strive to help them with any other necessities or needs they may have.

We help people connect with each other, contributing to church growth and community engagement. To show our appreciation to our first time visitors, we present them with a gift bag filled with a cup of sweet goodies and a church information card.
