He began his professional career in the community of Delray Beach. His spiritual journey began under the teaching of the late Brother James S. Fredrick, and he was baptized into the Church in April of 1987 under the leadership of Dr. I.C. Spivey of the 15th Avenue Church of Christ. He and his wife have three wonderful and compassionate children who love serving the Lord.Dr. Juan Santos is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of Santos Counseling PLLC, a family-owned outpatient multi-specialty treatment mental health practice that has been serving the Greensboro, NC community since 2014. Locally, they have been recognized as one of the top three marriage counselors and mental health practitioners. He is characterized by humility, innovation, a commitment to continuous learning, high ambition, and pride in his Dominican heritage (Hola Amigos!).Dr. Cooper has served for years in the Cone Health medical network and is passionate about caring for patients who are acutely ill in the hospital setting, as well as those following up in the office. His particular interests are in coronary artery disease and structural heart interventions such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) closure.
